I can't tell if I installed GitHub Copilot correctly. When I click on Positron Assistant, it asks me to sign into a provider. When I click on GitHub Copilot, it says "Github Copilot authenticated automatically using the Accounts menu."

Hi Eda! We can take a look at it in our meeting tomorrow, but this has happened to me before and it helped to reset the parameters to the default (dis-enable AI assistant), restart Positron, enable it again, log in again to GitHub and restart Positron one more time (the good ol' "shut it down and start over"). It's good practice to close and reopen Positron every time you change a configuration in the IDE. See if this video helps you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8dCQ6iIFXo

I am able to open positron assistant and chat when no folder is open, however it doesnt seem to work once I open a folder, I also only see traceback and not fix/explain when I try to replicate the video

Hi Gracielle! It was a bug only in one of my folders actually! Still not sure what caused it but in all other folders I've created since positron assistant has worked okay...

Right! Usually when we install or configure things on Positron, we need to close it and open it again for the changes to take effect. Glad it's working now!
