Hi David, again me: I have got a pop-up saying (in German, but I translate): the "git"-command requires the command line developer tools. Install this software? Do I need this (I am definitely not developer ...) or can I ignore it and cancel it? Thanks for your help, Leo (that's my nickname, I don't use Maria)

I think you can safely ignore this. Try it and let me know if it works!

It seems to work. But it always ask me to install the software when I open RStudio. Apart from that, everything is fine. Enjoying it so far. Thanks for your support Leo

Hello David, I'm glad I finally resumed. I've downloaded the R and R studio and installed them. However, I can only see the Icon for R (shortcut) and cannot see the R studio. I attempted installing it again to finish, yet I don't know how else to open it.

Sorry, Charles, I'm not quite sure how to help you with this because I can't see your computer. Assuming you installed RStudio correctly, you should be able to open it like you would any other program.
