The final assignment submission is very different from the previous ones. For this, you'll be recording a ~5min video showing us something that you’ve learned (or built!) with R that will apply to your real work/datasets. This can be about any part of the course or your work. Below you can find a few examples of assignments that people have submitted in past cohorts.
Run your project through this checklist to evaluate its completeness:
✅ Your project is organized in a way that it has a clear separation between code files, data (raw and clean), outputs and documentation;
✅ Your code is well commented;
✅ You have a consistent naming convention for your files and objects;
✅ Your object names are descriptive;
✅ Your code is fully reproducible;
✅ Your final report contains at least a data wrangling and a data visualization section; the code to produce them is not necessarily in the quarto document (they can be called in using the source function).

Hi All,
I think I was able to successfully upload it this time. If this does not work please let me know and I'll gladly to a screen record in a different way.

We got it! Thank you!

I am getting nothing but a black screen when I check my recording. I'm assuming that is not normal? Is there another way to upload a video?
Mike LeVan • June 4, 2025
I checked the settings on my Mac and browser and everything seems OK. Not sure why the video feed is all black. Audio works fine. The video looks good until the cording actually starts and then goes to a black screen.

Hi Mike! That's odd. We'll check on the back end here, but in the meantime, here are two options for you to try:
Let us know in a private message what you chose for sharing with the group and sharing for marketing options.

Here are a couple other things to try as well: https://show.rfor.us/J6vvMtsf. Thanks for your patience!

Hey,
Chrome allowed me to record a video, but they microphone level is VERY low. I have it as high as it can go, but I can barely hear anything. I am also limited to using the microphone on a single tab in a browser. Can't use it for a full screen. I'll mess around with it again in a bit.

Hey,
I may have to use another recording device. Is there a format that would work best? Thanks for the help!
Gracielle Higino Coach • June 4, 2025
I'd say *.mov or *mp4, but really any video format would work!
